Learning about style before ENTIRE wardrobe makeover

Hi you well dressed men,

Here's my situation: I'm 25 and hate literally my entire wardrobe, like I actually want to burn the whole thing in a grease fire. And soon I will. You see, I've had gynecomastia since early teens (man boobs from hormonal imbalance) which basically ruined any hope of dressing well for me since I wasn't able to deal with it well psychologically. I could never feel comfortable in any tshirts except graphic tees that hid my boobs but made me look 15 years old and restricted all other clothes. Like why look into and buy a leather jacket and boots if I'm just gonna wear it with a shirt that makes it look super out of place? It also made it hard to lose weight since I knew I would look weird as an in-shape guy with boobs (at least when I'm fat the boobs look like they have a reason for being there), as weird as it is it made me feel a bit more comfortable to be fat.

Anyway, I got them removed! I am no longer a literal soy boy. But I can't start buying clothes yet because I need to lose weight - I'm 8 kgs down in the 2 months since I was allowed to exercise after surgery, I reckon I've got another 3 months to go. I'll 100% do it because for the first time in my life I'm actually excited (not nervous) for the end result, so the standard 'don't rely on losing weight, dress for how you look now' isn't applicable. So I figure I've got time to start to learn what I'm doing before trying on/buying clothes.

So my question is: what's the best 'learn completely from scratch' resource(s) you know? I've read the sidebar. I want to learn about style as if out of a textbook for 15 mins a day, build up knowledge without experimentation. Inspo albums for beginners also welcome ofc, but I think it'll help less.

My motivation for this way to approach it is to build a good, classic, basic wardrobe very quickly once I can buy clothes. I know you're supposed to do it slowly, but I'm so sick of dressing like I do and tbh I was lucky enough to buy ethereum years ago so I'm newly cashed up and don't really care if I splurge a lot and then end up throwing a lot of it out later. I'll experiment with my personal style later
