Hey all. Feeling a little desperate here. I was wondering if you guys could recommend some GOOD topical treatments to me for hormonal acne. Three months ago after twenty two years of flawless skin my skin broke out into 10-20 spots and has been the same ever since. I had blood tests, everything seemed good apart from a hormonal imbalance (low estrogens leading to a testosterone dominance) so I have been perscribed Yasmin (bcp). I’m a month in and have not yet seen improvement. I need something to put on my spots to aid clearing my complexion. What has worked for you all? If it needs to be perscribed please still recommend it to me as I can easily ask the gp (UK). Thanks all :-)
Also if anyone has had experience of using birth control in order to clear acne how long did it take for you to start seeing results?
