Extreme fatigue on T (TW: p*riods)

I notice whenever I get my monthly cycle I get extremely tired. I can get a consistent 8-10 hours of sleep and still feel overwhelmingly drowsy during the day, to the point that I almost can't control falling asleep at times. I'm 22 and this only started after I began HRT a couple months ago.

My general doctor says this is due to a hormonal imbalance during my period, and it's true because this overwhelming fatigue goes away a couple days after my period ends. But I'm just frustrated af because it's quite literally very exhausting and it's getting in the way of my daily activities. I have no energy to do anything even if I get sleep, ingest a shit load of caffeine, don't have caffeine/sugar at all, eat well, take naps, etc. I honestly don't know how I drive some days.

I know taking T doesn't guarantee periods going away forever, but I'm just worried now cus I don't want this to keep happening every month until I eventually just get a hysterectomy years from now... and honestly the fact that I can't just go through this 2nd puberty "normally" bothers tf outta me.
