Can you relate? I've had only one flare. Hormones are off...

Hello,

I had a flare 2 years ago; since then been having less rashes. Also, to my main point, I had fluctuating weight gain before and after Stills...and also low testosterone... At first I thought months of Prednisone caused this.

Now, I'm wondering if anybody else had hormonal changes such as ED, low libido before (or after) prednisone, and constant fatigue without harsh symptoms of a flare. Recently, I got on hormone therapy and that has been helping reducing fatigue big time, so I'm also wondering if a chunk of my auto-immune symptoms is actually caused by my hormone imbalance? To put simply: Low Testosterone caused my flare perhaps... not 100% sure yet. My father has low-T and has chronic fatigue and other health issues and my bloods came back showing I have low-t.

I found this study showing how a hormone imbalance in a male can lead to auto-immune symptoms. Is it likely this is true rather than the other way, auto-immune causing low testosterone. I've had low testosterone before my flare as well. Which leads me to think my line of thinking is maybe a "eureka" moment but only time will tell.

Edit: Again, I am not sure what caused my Stills Disease... just wondering if anybody can relate to hormonal/libido/ED/brain fog/losing muscle problems before their first flare from Stills.
