I am a young 28 year old female. I have always had a lot of issues with my body functioning correctly. I was born with cerebral palsy. I have ADHD. I also have to worry about possibly having lupus some day. I have a beautiful son who was born via C-section 6 weeks early. Prior to having him I had 2 miscarriages. I knew if I didnt have a child while young that I probably would never have one. So I kind of rushed into getting pregnant. He is my angel. He is almost 8. But now I am facing a big possibility of having a hysterectomy. I have been on birth control for many years because without it I have menhoragia with huge blood clots, and I get anemic. But when on the birth control I have had some very bad ovarian cysts that cause me really bad pain. I can not function very well in life with these issues. I also deal with hormonal imbalance. I am just very scared. I already feel insecure about my femininity. I dont feel like I am feminine enough. I also am scared something will go wrong. Surgery is one of my biggest fears. I would like advise from those who have had hysterectomies. How did you get through it? Do you have any lasting issues?
