I (36F), feel extremely horny after my periods right up to my ovulation. From whatever I've read online, it's normal to feel like this during your ovulation. Yet it feels anything but. My husband and I are in a long distance relationship, which makes it even harder. It's got to a point where I find myself staring at random men, literally ogling at their asses and fantasizing about having sex with them! It's so freakin' embarrassing! I keep thinking about sex and crave it day & night. Masturbation doesn't help at all.
I think I may have a hormonal issue that's manifesting itself like this. I'm really ashamed to go to my gynaecologist as she's a family friend and really old, I'm not sure how I'll even begin to explain my problem to her.
It's really difficult to concentrate on anything with these sexual fantasies going around in my head, and sometimes I fear I might act upon these one day.
Has anyone else ever faced this issue? Is it normal to be this horny or do I really have some ovarian thing that's driving me nuts?
