Has anyone used boric acid suppositories?

I have had chronic yeast infections since I was 12, and once I was diagnosed with PCOS it started making sense. Apparently the hormonal imbalance causes a pH imbalance and can cause chronic yeast infections. I take diflucan every Tuesday and have since like October-ish. It worked for a bit, but now by Friday I’m at Walgreens buying OTC creams to get me by until Tuesday. A few days ago she had me start using boric acid suppositories and I just have questions
