Birth Control for Medical Reasons

Good evening Fathers,

I have a hormone imbalance and the doctor says the only way to balance it out is with birth control pills. I know birth control is not allowed by the church, but would it be acceptable if it is to balance out my hormones? I have been on birth control in the past (before I became Catholic) and that is actually how I conceived my 3 daughters. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for over a year and we’ve been unsuccessful even through NFP. Not only do I need to balance out my hormones, but it would be an added bonus if it made it so we could get pregnant.
