Desquamative Inflammatory Vaginitis (DIV) may be what you have

So I have vaginismus and possibly vestibulitis. I've had "BV" for 10+ years. No antibiotics worked. I tried Flagyl and Solosec many times. Thought maybe I had a yeast infection too. Doctor gave me antifungals and it didn't work. I was reading a book by Andrew Goldstein called "When sex hurt" and discovered something called DIV. Apparently if you have it you will test positive for BV even i you don't have BV. It's an excess of WBC caused by hormonal imbalances.

It has many different treatments but is super under researched. The modern medicine approach seems to be a combination of topical clindamycin, topical corticosteroid, and sometimes topical estrogen. The more holistic approach is 5000 IU vitamin and epsom salt baths.

Thought it was pretty cool that there is a differential diagnosis out there.
