Hey! I'm 16F, 150ish pounds, 5'3, white, and I struggle with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, and my doctor is 99% sure I have PCOS. I have a hormone imbalance (too much testosterone), really heavy and painful periods, mood swings, overwhelming exhaustion, headaches, acne, etc etc. Two doctors suggested that I get the implant. I would take the pill, but I'm forgetful and would be inconsistent with it. I'm worried about the side effects of the implant and my mom/sister are against it because my sister didn't like it and my mom doesn't want me messing with my hormones. I'm worried about the side effects and I don't know if it's right for me. Do you guys have any thoughts/advice/etc? BTW I wouldn't want to get an IUD because of the pain and how invasive it is, and I'm not sexually active so there's no chance of me getting pregnant. Thanks!
