I’ve dealt with painful periods for YEARS and no gynecologist has ever taken it seriously. I’ve been diagnosed with cysts and a hormonal imbalance. Funny thing is that my body rejects artificial hormones. My last gynecologist swore that her hormonal treatment would help—it sent me to the ER. Now I’ve found a new doctor who is 99% sure it’s endometriosis, but I need the laparoscopic surgery to confirm. I’m scared. What if it’s not endometriosis and I’m in pain for the rest of my life??? This fucking sucks. Every inch of my body hurts, I’ve been bloated for a month, and sex is beyond painful. I hate my damn uterus!
