Hello, I'm a 25F. I have been on Sprintec for about a month now and I have experience not necessary depression, but a huge hollow vast feeling. I was on Ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel for about 5 years and suddenly I didn't have a period for over 100 days. I started to freak out because my partner and I thought we were pregnant. Throughout weeks, I would do pregnancy test and all negative. I felt very odd that I had regularly periods with the EE&L Birth control and suddenly it stopped. I went to a new OB doctor and he prescribe me Sprintec because I have a hormonal imbalance (facial hair/PCOS). I just got my period, however very light. One thing my partner noticed was when I was with the old birth control I had a HL and I was always ready for sexy time. With this new BC, I feel like I'm never in the mood and I see myself wanting it, but no motivation to be sexy anymore. I've gain weight and I feel like I am a robot with any emotions. I have a follow up appointment next month but I am afraid that if the doctor prescribes me with another BC I will be all over the place and wondering if I'll get my period. Has any woman feel this way as well? If so, is there any vitamins I can take. It is super sad that friends and family come up to me and say I have withdrawn myself to a lot of things.
