Its almost 15 years since I have been suffering from this! Only to discover today that it is called POIS.
I used to feel extreme fatigue and tiredness that I could not even get out of bed after a day after orgasm... I used to have poor grades and somehow managed to get through.. I knew something was wrong, I suspected some nutritional deficiency/hormonal imbalance...
Around ~8 years back.. I was diagnosed with high BP since I had extremely bad headaches and nose bleeds, I was prescribed beta-blockers and amlodipine (CCB) for high BP after all the tests. I was told it is something called essential hypertension. After taking the meds, my BP is now normal.
I am still taking the meds to date and my POIS symptoms reduced to about 60 to 70%, Even now I have the problem of headaches and severe neck pain after orgasm (multiple) times.
I now suspect magnesium deficiency is also a reason for POIS...
