28 yo female here..I got pregnant in October. Miscarried on November 2nd due to a blighted ovum. I have been pregnant several other times in my life and was always able to get pregnant easily and without complications. Since then, I have not become pregnant even when trying. I tested my LH today (leutinizing hormone that rises when you ovulate) and my test came back a huge positive, but the tricky part is that I'm on day 3 of my period so its impossible that I'm ovulating. I researched some things online and am seeing that the only other thing that can be causing that LH rise for me right now is a hormone imbalance. Then it all clicked, and I am feeling like maybe the kratom is what caused the miscarriage, and the inability to conceive. I remember researching what a blighted ovum was after the miscarriage, and I saw that no particular thing causes it and that it sometimes just happens, thats what the doctor said too.. but I also saw something on one page that said it could be caused from a hormone imbalance but it didn't even cross my mind that maybe kratom could cause the imbalance, or that I had an imbalance at all until I saw the LH test today. All of this is all coming together I think, and I decided to reach out to you guys because you have always been here for me and helpful for the past few years, without judgement. I have been tapering but now I am just going to go CT the day after New Years, I have the support of my husband so that helps a little. I have been wanting to quit for a while now and each time I try, it gets really hard (terrible WDs) and something always comes up where I need to be okay (a holiday, doctors appt etc) and then I end up back on the long miserable train that is this green beast (my husband calls it "tree shit" and he hates it).. But I wanted to know if any of you know if its possible that kratom is causing my issues? A possible hormone imbalance from the kratom? I know my sex drive has been super low for the past few years of use so it would maybe make sense. I hate that fucking plant so much. And I apologize in advance to any of you dudes that feel uncomfortable when the word period is mentioned lol. Any information or help is appreciated. *PS. Do any of you know how long it takes for your hormones to be in a healthy place again or atleast start going back to normal after stopping???*
