So I’m in a different country and I’ve been currently taking yaz for my hormonal imbalance and I had unprotected sex so I took a plan b yesterday as I missed my pill. The doctor told me to not continue on with my birth control until I bleed which is at most in a week..? But everywhere on the internet it says that you can and should continue with birth control even if I took a plan b. I’m thinking it’s just this doctor? Because I asked around in an expat community and they said they still took their birth control when they took plan b. What should I do!? Why would the doctor say not to take the birth control...?
