Google says this is rare yet totally possible. Some women get flu like symptoms after have Mirena removed due to the hormonal imbalance. Like the whole shebang, including fever and chills. 12 hours after I got my mirena removed, I had horrible flu like symptoms for 12 hours. They’re gone now but I’m still exhausted. Has anyone else experienced this?
