Hi all! I have a question about using birth control and Adderall together. The pill that I've been prescribed is Yaz. I'm also taking prescribed Adderall 20mg/day for ADHD that I've had since I was a kid. I have heart palpitations and migraines, but my derm prescribed Yaz to help with my migraines and acne.
I'm terrified of birth control because of the possibility of blood clots, but I really do need to take it right now because my body has a hormonal imbalance. I know Adderall has an effect on your blood pressure as well. I usually run normal blood pressure, and I'm 5'8 and 125 lbs so not overweight. Will using the two together be safe for me with my history of heart palpitations and migraine? Am I just being paranoid?
