Finasteride sides caused by low androgens reduced/eliminated with TRT?

Unfortunately I’m one of the few men out there that have noticed gyno developing from using finasteride. Derek has written an article discussing this, and basically breaks it down into two pathways.

One being that estrogen is already high, and that taking fin causes a slight boost in estrogen, therefore pushing your estrogen into too-high territory allowing for the extra to develop gyno.

The other being low androgen profile such as low t levels, consequently low DHT levels, yet with low/normal E levels. Having low androgens with within-range E levels allows your body to become estrogen dominant when you use fin to block the most androgenic hormone there is.

Unfortunately I believe I fall into the latter category. I’ve gotten my blood tested a few times this past year, total T is in the low 400’s, Free T is low but still within the normal range (60 pg, 35-155 range) and E is around 25pg.

Fin gives me a hormonal imbalance, seemingly one of estrogen dominance due to androgens lacking. I’m already fairly lean at about 15% body fat, and I workout quite often and eat pretty well but not chicken and rice well. I also tend to suffer some low T symptoms already.

Do you think hopping on T to help with my Low T symptoms would also help to mitigate the development of gyno from using finasteride, by increasing my free and total T to make up for the lack of androgens in my body and mitigating estrogen dominance?
