I went to the Gyno today bc I was experiencing some pain on my left pelvic area. Turns out I have a cyst on my left ovary. She’s also running my urine for a culture as there were some WBC and ketones in it. She’s going to start me on a low dose birth control for 30 days and 3 cycles later, go back for a follow up sonogram. She didn’t run any bloodwork though and honestly didn’t seem too concerned. My thing is, if she believes it to be hormonal, wouldn’t it be wise to run blood work to see if I have an imbalance?
