Receding gums and hormonal imbalance. Help!

For background, I'm a woman in her mid-twenties. I'd had dental braces in my teens and I've been wearing retainers for 6 years now. Still got a dual bite tho.

I go to the dentist 2 or 3 times per year only for tartrum removal and every 4 weeks for checkups. I brush my teeth with an electric brush (Philips Sonicare) twice a day and I try to use the interdental brush or the irrigator once a month, although my gums are bleeding every time. I used to use them more frequently.

I don't drink alcohol or other beverages and I don't smoke. I eat healthy, home-cooked food, because I've got IBS.

I've noticed my gums started receding 3 years ago, along with some hormonal imbalance. The blood tests always come back fine, except for vitamin D (I've got a deficiency). Unfortunately, I live in a country where modern medicine sometimes is an enigma. I've seen a handful of doctors (endocrinologists, ob-gyns, dentists) and only one found a link between my receding gums and a hormonal imbalance.

I've been taking dydrogesterone for 3 months now, but nothing has changed really. My hormone imbalance is still affecting my period, my gums are still swollen every single day and my teeth still feel sensitive even when I drink lukewarm water or eat anything sugary. Furthermore, most of my teeth are showing signs of demineralization. My gums receded a lot imo, given the fact that for both first molars on the lower jaw, the roots are starting to show and I had to get a fill for the chipped enamel on the right one.

I'm considering getting a gum graft, but I'm looking for other alternatives as well. Can you please help me?
