At first, we assumed it was things like her period, diet, sleep. Then she started having an insatiable appetite, and if she doesn’t eat enough she will get even more lightheaded. Now, she’s weak and tired all the time. It’s gotten progressively worse over months of her dealing with this almost daily, sometimes for an entire week at a time. She got blood work done to see if there were any deficiencies or hormone imbalances. Numbers are good. She went to a heart doctor and everything checked out there. Her gynecologist said she was healthy as well. She just saw an endocrinologist who basically said there’s nothing wrong with her hormones. Pituitary and thyroid all seem fine. Going to do another hormone test just in case. Next step I’m assuming is a neurologist, but this will be her 5th doctor seen for these issues. No one has an idea of what it could be or suggested treatments. I’m really concerned and she’s frustrated and tired of feeling awful and obviously wants some kind of information. Does anyone know what this could possibly be?
