I'm a woman whos slowly getting a beard

I (21f) has always had a moustache since I was about 8, it was very noticable even then where I was teased about it in school, it's about the same as a 14 year old boys would be, not thick as a man my age would generally be but still dark and coarse. It slowed down a little in secondary school but now ive noticed I've been getting dark coarse hair on the sides of my chin, when I haven't shaved my face in a few days to a week it's all extremely noticiable, especially since I have quite pale skin. Im just wondering if there's anything I can do about it, whether it's a hormonal imbalence that I can sort out because even when I have shaved I now have spots on my chin and light scaring on my upper lip from when I tried waxing and bleaching creams. I'm also wondering whether it's a possibility that I will get more hair since the beard has only really heavily become noticable in the last few months (maybe just under a year?). I have relatively normal periods so I don't think it's PCOS and my BC is the copper coil so there's no extra hormones that I know of that can be affecting it.
