AFAB Transfem

Hi, I'm Oracle and I'm a transfem teenager who was assigned female at birth. I know that's confusing, so I'm here just to talk a bit about afab transfems and amab transmascs and answer any questions you may have :)

FAQ: Q. How can you be transfem and AFAB? A. I'm intersex. My chromosomes are XX (as far as I know rn), but my body produces an excess of male horomones and I'm currently going through a diluted form of male puberty. In the future I hope to go through gender affirming surgeries to change what this is doing to my body.

Q. Aren't you just cis and intersex? A. It is up to the intersex person to define their identity. For me, as a young kid I was teased for being more boyish and excluded from the groups of girls. Because of this, I think I fit more into the label of transfem than cisgender!

Q. Are you socially accepted as a woman? A. Sometimes. Despite being AFAB, people don't treat me as one and instead think of me as an odd 'third gender' for my hormone imbalances, but doctors usually treat me as a woman seeing 'female' on my original records.

If this post breaks any rules I'll gladly take it down. <3
