The story, the characters, the music... what a brilliantly put together show. It is so heartwarming and I've been crying tears of joy pretty much every other episode lol and i am a 30 year old dude. Maybe there is a hormonal imbalance at play but maybe it's just that this show really seems to understand humanity and it taps into something so beautiful. Like the scene where the geeks get to pick the teams. That shit wrecked me. Or when Lindsay apologizes to the group and they hop into the cars with Supertramp's gorgeous vocals playing. Seriously, what a work of art.
