I’ve been on Nexplanon for almost a year. I’ve been struggling with breakthrough bleeding daily. I got prescribed a combination pill on top to help because it might be a hormone imbalance. I regret not choosing the non-hormonal IUD but I’m scared it too late to change to that.
Recently I think that vaping might enable this issue, so I want to quit sometime soon.
I feel really awful and disgusting because of it though. I know it’s a natural side effect of having birth control but I feel really undesirable. I just want to have a normal cycle and body without worrying about a pregnancy scare.
I’m envious of other women too, lots of women benefit with having BC and had no issue of this.
I’ve been taking my pills daily for a week after my period but my breakthrough bleeding is still somewhat there. I’m somewhat scared of that.
Any advice and support to give.
