Blood test next steps for low testosterone and low T3 uptake

Hi - I'll try to keep this short but looking for advice on what my next steps should be post-blood test results.

29F, 5'6", ~160

Recently had my yearly blood work done and my PCP added on a hormone test because I mentioned to her that I've been running very hot for the last 6-8 months, like have to have a fan on me at all times, wake up sweating-level of heat.

My testosterone came back very low as well as my T3 uptake. PCP told me not to worry about T3 uptake because the rest of my thyroid panel came back okay (?). She told me to go to a gynecologist and talk to them about testosterone cream or pellets to start hormone replacement therapy.

My gynecologist completely dismissed my low-T. She said this is typical for women on hormonal birth control and as soon as I'm off the pill my levels will go back to normal. I'm not ready to go off it, but this is the only solution she provided me. I told her I was worried that I wasn't losing weight because of this imbalance, she told me weight loss is strictly calories in/calories out so I just need to eat better.

My biggest health concern at the moment is my weight. I workout 5-6 days per week - all different types of workouts but usually 2 days weights, 2-3 days running, 1 day pilates. I eat extremely healthy, probably too little sometimes. I drink maybe 2-3 alcoholic drinks a month. I've followed countless diets and nothing moves the scale. I was hoping addressing the Low-T and potential hypothyroidism would help but my doctors don't seem to have a solution for me.

Where do I go from here? Having a hard time accepting the fact that I'm just going to fight to lose the same 10 pounds over and over again for the rest of my life.
