Noticing a difference in my body after a Natural vs. epidural birth

Im six months postpartum with my second baby and my body reacted so much differently with an epidural. My body jumped back to normal faster when I went natural. I had less ppa, less weight gain, my hormones were over all much better. After my second birth with an epidural this time I have fought ppa, high cortisol, weight gain, depression, hormone imbalance. Non of which I had after my first natural birth. Just wondering if all of this is because of the epidural I received and wondering if other’s experienced the difference in their bodies after a natural birth vs. epidural. I’m now fighting to regulate everything going on in my body and it’s an uphill climb. I have never been this big and this unhappy. I love my babies so much and I feel guilty for feeling this way when I have literally the most gorgeous sweet babies who rely on me.
