AITAH for defending pharmacologists and making my wife cry?

My wife and I, on our wedding anniversary of all days, were in bed chatting whilst watching a film as she was taking her nightly medication.

One of which for hormone imbalance was particularly large. After taking it she says “they would never make a man take a pill this big”. I tried to rationalise is by saying something like “I’m sure it’s got the necessary amount of everything in it, and ‘they’ wouldn’t make it any larger than it needs to be. This isn’t some anti-woman conspiracy”. She replies saying “Viagra isn’t this big so why does this have to be”.

Now she has left our hotel to go home and I’m feeling like shit. I don’t feel like I should’ve just said “yes, dear” as she wish I had, because her statement was clearly (in my eyes) wrong.
