I’m currently going through a chemical pregnancy (first pregnancy ever) and I know they’re usually caused by chromosomal abnormalities but I can’t shake the feeling that there’s something else going on. For the past 5 months in a row I’ve had HORRIBLE ovulation pain to the point where I can’t even move and it wakes me up from sleeping. I don’t know if I have endometriosis or anything but I do kind of suspect a cyst. This pain starts in my ovaries but it typically radiates to my upper abdomen and chest too. And it’s only when I ovulate every month so I’m pretty confident it’s tied to that. So my question is if I do have a cyst, could that lead to a chemical? I know it’s probably not the direct cause, but could it cause a hormone imbalance that could lead to a chemical? Or could it lead to lower egg quality that caused the chemical? Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I’m hopefully going to get an ultrasound soon and should get some answers
