18F 120lbs, I have very irregular periods where I get them every 10 days to two weeks and the bleeding lasts for 7 days with additional spotting. They’re very heavy and painful, it’s been like this since I was 11. Doctors never wanted to look into why it was like that so they just gave me birth control, I’ve been on birth control since I was 13. Right now I have hormonal IUD. Since I got the IUD ive been getting a new sharp stabbing pain in my side. I went to the doctor and told her all this and she said the IUD is why it’s irregular and said don’t worry about it. Should I go back to a different doctor? It’s very troublesome to be bleeding more than half my days and I’m worried that I have a hormonal imbalance (I also get stuff like morning sickness) like PCOS causing this.
